The Illinois Department of Public Health revealed that May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month. Ticks bring Lyme and other debilitating and often fatal illnesses such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Tularemia, Ehrlichiosis, and Babesiosis.
