ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.– For individuals who are at home, and cant make it out to get a COVID-19 vaccine, the state is dealing with Presbyterian Hospital on a program to bring the vaccine to you.Theyve offered 300 vaccines to people in the house in Albuquerque and are rolling it out to other parts of New Mexico.
“They are broadening to Santa Fe, Valencia and Sandoval counties,” said Aging and Long-Term Services Sec. Katrina Hotrum-Lopez. Hotrum-Lopez says theyll continue to broaden the program to other parts of New Mexico.More and more New Mexicans are getting their vaccine. Wednesday, the state reported 50% have had at least one shot. More than 30% are completely immunized.
