460 more COVID-19 cases, 27583 vaccinations reported Saturday in Utah – KSL.com

SALT LAKE CITY– The Utah Department of Health reported 460 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state Saturday, along with 10 more deaths and 27,583 more vaccines administered.That brings Utah to 384,173 total cases, 2,101 deaths and 1,289,691 vaccines administered because the pandemic began. There are currently 137 Utahns reported hospitalized due to COVID-19, including 56 in extensive care.Saturdays numbers come as 14,289 more tests were conducted in Utah. The 10 deaths consist of: A Beaver County man between ages 45 and 64 who was hospitalized when he diedA Davis County man between ages 45 and 64 who was hospitalizedA Salt Lake County male between ages 45 and 64 who was hospitalizedA Davis County female over age 85 who was the citizen of a long-lasting care facilityA Salt Lake County male over age 85 who was the homeowner of a long-lasting care facilityA Salt Lake County female over age 85 who was the citizen of a long-term care facilityA Utah County lady over age 85 who was not hospitalized when she diedA Utah County female over age 85 who was the citizen of a long-lasting care facilityA Washington County male in between ages 65 and 84 who was not hospitalized when he diedA Weber County woman between ages 45 and 64 who was hospitalizedThe health departments coronavirus website says there are presently 5 long-lasting care centers in Utah with active break outs among residents.As of Wednesday, all Utahns age 16 and older are qualified to set up a visit to be immunized versus COVID-19.
