Kent Co. launches new digital tracing tool for COVID-19 –

The department states while it has utilized the program on a restricted basis over the previous couple of weeks, it will start utilizing the tool on a bigger scale.

Individuals who do not complete the digital survey will get a call from an illness detective to gather the details.

The program will also help supply isolation and quarantine details.

Health officials are partnering with Michigan software application developer CoherentRX to execute a program called Patient Education Genius. It will help collect details from individuals who evaluate favorable for COVID-19 through a digital survey sent through text or e-mail.

When they evaluate positive for the virus, people more youthful than 18 and older than 70 will receive a phone call from health officials.
