A 5th Humboldt County local has died after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
The individual was in their 70s and passed in the first week of September at an out-of-area medical facility. Public Health was notified through the California Reportable Disease Information Exchange, understood as CalREDIE, as this individual maintained an irreversible residence in Humboldt County but had actually not been residing in the county at the time of death.
The overall variety of county citizens confirmed to have contracted the virus now stands at 447, after five new cases were reported today.
