Press release from the Humboldt County Joint Information:
Humboldt Countys verified COVID-19 case count now stands at 205, after 2 new cases were reported today.
The Humboldt County Alert Level increased to level three due to current increases in case counts per 100,000 residents as determined over a 14-day period. The boost does not put us on the states County Monitoring List, which would trigger extra organisation closures and adjustments, Humboldt County Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich revealed concern over this current pattern and said it requires to alter.
” It ends up being increasingly essential right now that people are actually helping by using facial coverings, social distancing, hand sterilizing and remaining near house,” Dr. Frankovich stated. “In order to bring our case rate down, protect our neighborhood and enable us to stay off the county monitoring list, we truly need to work together as a community and drop those numbers.”
